Make Reservations on Open Table

New Year’s Eve in the Grotto Bar

This is the easiest way to Grotto the end of the year!  Join us for Andrew’s libations, local taps, wine and our regular menu a la carte all night long.  The bar is first come first served.  If you have a group and want to reserve one of the tables in the bar, call the Grotto.  We cannot guarantee seating in the bar if you reserve via open table!  It’s only for the two large tables in the bar {6 people & 8 to 12} that you would need to call.

New Year’s Eve ~ Drink

Wine FLights!  We have them!  We will offer a bubbly Prosecco flight featuring incredible prosecco from small producers in a variety of styles, our Lambrusco Flight which celebrates our favorite red bubble, a really good flight featuring some of our favorite reds and our Even Better flight which is a collection of our best reds.

Cocktails! We have our usual assortment of craft cocktails featuring house-infused spirits, locally distilled spirits & everything else you’ve come to expect at the Grotto Bar.  And our full complement of house-made non-alcoholic beverages, cocktails, local tap beers & wonderfully wacky wine list are available.

Even though it is a Sunday, there is no free corkage, wine madness or happy hour due to the holiday.

New Year’s Eve ~ Come Early

If you reserve by 6:30 pm, you can order from the a la carte menu at our regular pricing.  There is no minimum order.  We are opening early at 3:00 pm.  Of course, we will have our regular Kid’s Menu, which Tom Sietsema of the Washington Post named a top 5 selection.

On the other hand, you can order one of the tastings below.

New Year’s Eve ~ Come Later

Starting at 7:00 pm, we are offering 3, 4 or 5 courses for $49, $59 & $69 per person.  Your menu starts with an amuse of a gorgonzola biscotti & lentils & cotechino, plus a glass of prosecco.  All of the menus include an entree or full pasta plus dessert.  If you choose the 3 course, add an antipasto.  4 or 5-course menus can enjoy any of our antipasti, cheese & charcuterie plates or a half pasta.

If you want to ring in the new year with us, reserve at 8.30 or later!  We will have our usual assortment of tacky hats, noisemakers and other cheap disposables to make the evening more festive!
